The preferred turkey cooking method of Elves, who originated the concept. Then it moved to the South where it was most popularized, and now catching-on nation wide.
The best part is that you can keep the oven space free for more cookies. Cooking time is about 3 1/2 minutes per pound, so figure around 1 hour for an 18 pound bird.
